Hints & TipsSunburned KneesLast summer we tried really hard to keep our daughter from getting sunburn. Every time she went outside she wore her hat. We slathered her up from head to toe, ears, arms, hands, her nose, etc. No way was our daughter going to get sunburn. Or so we thought. Because she wears knee high leg braces and her shorts reach her knees when sitting we didn't think her knees would get any sun. Shame on us, they sure did! Our daughter wasn't able to wear her braces for a full week due to the sunburn she received. Be sure to slather ALL exposed skin with sunscreen during the summer time even if you don't think it needs it. You never know. |
