Hints & TipsPrepare Your Child for PreschoolEntering preschool classes for the first time can be intimidating to ANY child, regardless of ability. Starting in the spring talk to your child about the upcoming change and how it will affect them. Topics should include specific activities they may expect the first day of school, the bus route they will follow and how they will get to class. Assure them they will not be left alone and they will be able to have help if they need it. A visit to the school and perhaps some playtime on the playground would be helpful. |
