Hints & TipsFitting Orthotics into ShoesMany shoe styles are now being manufactured with removable insoles. As consumer demand for custom insoles increases shoe manufacturers are making shoes easier for consumers to convert. This is extremely helpful for the child wearing a foot brace. Gone are the days when a shoe must be 2-3 sizes larger than the child would normally wear. "Clown" sized shoes can cause tripping and irregular gate. With removable insoles the shoe can easily accommodate a brace and still be safe to walk in. Pull out those insoles! |
