Building your classroom's capacity to meet the unique needs of diverse learners.
The LASARD staff of experienced educators has supported hundreds of teachers across Louisiana to implement
specialized supports that meet the unique needs of their diverse learners.
Our staff know from experience that sitting in a professional development session
does not always lead to practice in the classroom, so we pair our training sessions
with job-embedded coaching (observation, modeling, and feedback) to support the implementation
of the evidence-based practices covered in our trainings.
Why LASARD?

classrooms. Our experienced coaches work alongside teachers, offering real-time guidance,
feedback, and practical solutions tailored to the unique needs of their students.
Engage groups of educators with similar needs in continuous learning. Each CoP session
will consist of a short content presentation and a solution focused case study component.
Social Emotional Learning (SEL) helps students build the skills to understand their
feelings, connect with others, and navigate challenges with confidence.
For students with autism and other developmental disabilities, Social Emotional Learning
(SEL) creates opportunities to practice communication, develop friendships, and build
self-advocacy skills in ways that celebrate their strengths. Learn how you can implement
SEL in your classroom with this Lunch + Learn.
