Through its Veterans No Boundaries Program, Maine Adaptive provides veterans and active duty personnel with disabilities summer and winter adaptive sports activities, free of charge.
NEVI*Fest is held each February at Sugarloaf. In addition to providing on-snow lessons to beginners-advanced skiers/riders that have a visual impairment, this festival is also committed to teaching friends and family in how to become guides.
Maine Adaptive will host a 4-day clinic for mono-skiers with a 2-day clinic at Saddleback followed by a 2-day clinic at Saddleback and Sunday River. Clinics are taught by skilled mono-skiers with the goal of improving your skiing ability and comfort level in all aspects of the sport.
